A little more about me...
Senior UI/UX and Web Designer, combining over a decade of end-to-end design experience. Formerly Lead UX/UI Designer for a SaaS ESP, specialising in translating complex product architectures. Then onto independently building SEO/AEO-optimised, production-ready web experiences. Proven background collaborating with startup founders to launch MVPs and executing high-priority visual designs for enterprise corporations across remote, global teams.
My roots go back to the early web, handcrafting HTML and Photoshop assets as an IT graduate before turning that obsession into a career across UX, SaaS, and visual design. Based in Cape Town as an independent product designer and Framer builder. Additionally, I run an education YouTube channel and resource hub called Design Chillout.
When I'm not focused on design work, I enjoy being active outdoors by going for a run, hiking, or swimming, and spending time with family as well as travelling abroad, which usually includes visiting family as we're cross-cultural.
